Andy Clinton

A native of Rock Hill, S.C, Andy Clinton has been a key player at Visit York County since 2012. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina (2008–2012). Before assuming his current role as CEO, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and was appointed Interim President & CEO in February 2022.

Throughout his tenure, Andy has been instrumental in bringing high-profile events to the area, including the Adidas 3SSB Basketball Circuit, a neutral-site collegiate basketball game between South Carolina and Florida State, and the 2018 and 2024 NCAA Cross Country Southeast Regionals— York County’s first-ever NCAA championship hosting.

In addition, Andy has been recognized as one of the Chamber’s “Ones to Watch” and completed the Leadership CORE program. Under his leadership, he has successfully increased accommodations tax funding and the overall budget for Visit York County, while also driving investments in social media and the website to enhance the organization’s digital presence.
