Register to Do Business

In South Carolina you will find a pro-business environment ready to work for the film industry. In fact, we've designed a series of streamlined regulations administered through various state agencies to help get your production underway.

For productions that qualify for our incnetives, if your business is a limited partnership, corporation, or limited liability company/limited liability partnership, you must register with the SC Secretary of State's Office; 803-734-2158. The Registration and/or Biennial Renewal Application can be found here

Find all of the information and forms related to filings for the Secretary of State and the SC Department of Revenue at the SC Business One Stop (SCBOS) website.

Go Green

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has launched the Green Production Guide, an interactive website which provides the production community with access to a database of environmentally-sensitive products and services from vendors and service providers nationwide.

The web-based Green Production Guide offers film, television and new media producers with easy-to-access resources to help them operate more sustainable productions.

The SC Film Commission encourages all green South Carolina vendors to register for this valuable resource.
