Logo And Usage
To lend consistency to our many marketing products, the SC Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism is providing this guide to explain the proper use of the logo "South Carolina Smiling Faces. Beautiful Places®." The logo is a valuable marketing tool and has national and international name recognition.
Though officially registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, the logo is available for use by our tourism partners to help extend South Carolina’s message and brand identity. The logo is a sign of State Government endorsement that adds merit to your work. It indicates that the document has been closely reviewed and the contents of the document accurately represent what is being promoted.
Each user must comply with the design guidelines provided here. Please refer to these guidelines to ensure compliance on all collateral, print and electronic ads and direct mail projects.
These links provide graphics professionals with a means to download a digital version of the logo for placement in your work. Included are files for both PC and MAC operating systems in EPS format. If you are unable to download or utilize these versions of the logo, do not attempt to recreate the logo by matching fonts or scanning. Please contact the SCPRT’s Marketing office at 803.734.0183 or 803.734-0124 for assistance, and we will send you the files in a different format and send a logo guide with camera-ready logos for scanning. Any other methods of reproducing the logo are unacceptable.
